Florida reveals jersey numbers for the upcoming season, Gators assign multiple No. 1 jerseys

It is an honor and a privilege to wear the No. 1 jersey for the University of Florida football program that few have earned in recent seasons. That will change heading into the 2019 college football season.

The Gators officially announced the jersey numbers for the football team on Monday and the two headlines come at the very top as both CJ Henderson and Kadarius Toney have been given the prestigious No. 1 uniforms for the coming season.

The previous player to be given No. 1 in Gainesville was former standout defensive back, Vernon Hargreaves. No Gator has worn the number since the 2015 college football season.
