Florida (8-4) enters the postseason matchup on a two-game losing streak after falling to rival Florida State in the regular season finale and then Alabama in the SEC Championship Game by a combined score of 85-29.
Still, the Gators have a good opportunity to finish with nine wins or more in back-to-back years for the first time since they posted two straight 13-1 records in 2008-09.
Florida-Iowa will begin play at 1 p.m. ET on ABC.
