Florida State trolled on social media after embarrassing spelling mistake in offer letters
Some spelling errors can be funny, some can be cringeworthy.
What about when you’re a higher education institution sending an official offer letter to a DI athlete and posting it on social media when it contains a glaring grammatical error?
Well, that’s exactly what FSU did when they sent an offer to Lamont Green Jr. recently. As you can see below, the Seminoles sent Green an “offcial” offer letter instead of an “official” offer letter:

Yeah, we’re going with cringeworthy on this one, and the rest of the internet seems to agree. Might we suggest that documentation be run by the school’s English department before being sent?
From the reactions on Twitter, this won’t be a moment the Seminoles forget any time soon.

Hopefully, this mistake is no indication of how the Seminoles’ season (or academic year) will transpire.
There’s hope, at least on the football side, according to Bill Connelly. The projections have the ‘Noles 28th overall, with a 15th-ranked defense. Based on these predictions, the Seminoles might just have a “wnning” season. You can watch FSU take on Duquesne on Saturday, August 27.
