Former Alabama DB Xavier McKinney trolls Skip Bayless after ending Dallas Cowboys’ playoff hopes
Staying alive in the NFC East title race, the New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 23-19, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday.
Finishing their regular season at 6-10, the Giants will claim the division if the Philadelphia Eagles (4-10-1) knock off the Washington Football Team (6-9) on Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field.
Perhaps the biggest play of the afternoon came with 1:15 remaining, when ex-Alabama Crimson Tide safety Xavier McKinney intercepted former TCU Horned Frog Andy Dalton in the end zone. From there, New York was able to run out the clock.

After the game, McKinney made sure to remind one of the Cowboys’ most outspoken fans, FS1’s Skip Bayless, of something he wrote almost nine months ago.
Happy belated New Year’s Skip 😉 https://t.co/nI5oclDZoY

Graduating from Roswell (Georgia) High School in 2017, McKinney racked up 175 tackles (13 for loss), six forced fumbles, six sacks, five interceptions, and two defensive scores during his three seasons at Alabama, winning the College Football Playoff National Championship as a freshman and earning first-team All-Southeastern Conference honors as a junior.
The Giants, who are in their first year under head coach Joe Judge, selected him in the second-round (No. 36 overall) of the 2020 National Football League Draft.
If the Eagles can top Washington, it will be New York’s first trip to the postseason since 2016, when Ben McAdoo was head coach.
