Former Alabama defensive lineman Braylen Ingraham has found a new home in the ACC for 2023.

Ingraham announced Monday that he has committed to Syracuse for the upcoming year. He will have 2 years of eligibility remaining with the Orange.

Ingraham spent 4 seasons with the Crimson Tide, appearing in two games in 2019 and 2020. He recorded 5 total tackles during his tenure in Tuscaloosa. Ingraham did not record a stat in 2021, and was not a part of the Tide’s roster this past season.

One of the top defensive linemen of the 2019 recruiting class, Ingraham chose Alabama over offers from Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and others. The Orange finished 29th nationally in total defense (338.8 yards per game), and ranked 68th defending the run (150.1 yards per game).

The Orange finished 7-5 under Dino Babers in 2022. They will face off against Minnesota in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 29.

Alabama which finished 10-2 in 2022, will face off against No. 9 Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Dec. 31 in New Orleans at noon ET on ESPN.
