With a 68 (-3) on the final round and -8 overall, former Alabama golfer Justin Thomas has won the 2017 PGA Championship.
Thomas got his start as Alabama in 2012, winning the Haskins Award for most outstanding college golfer as a freshman. He was also on the Crimson Tide’s 2013 championship team.
In his official PGA bio, Thomas describes his top bucket list as watching Alabama football team win a national championship in person. He also includes Nick Saban in his dream foursome, alongside his dad and Carrie Underwood.
Perhaps he and Saban will one day reminisce over a future Alabama national championship while playing 18.
