Alabama is off this weekend, but former Crimson Tide kicker Will Reichard made fans proud as he kicked a 57-yard field goal in a preseason game on Sunday.
He made the kick for the Minnesota Vikings in a preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The kick put the Vikings up 26-3 late in the 4th quarter, which was ultimately the final score.

The Vikings took him with the 203rd pick in April’s draft, and he is the kicker for the team as they enter the start of the NFL season.
He finished his Alabama career making 84-100 field goals, going an impressive 10-of-13 on kicks from 50 yards or more — good enough for the most makes from that distance in program history. He is the all-time scoring leader in Alabama history, but it is a tackle that most fans remember of Reichard.
In the 2022 Iron Bowl win against Alabama, he had a tackle that would go on to play a huge role in the game. Auburn had what looked like a game-changing return that could have brought the game to within a one-score game, but Reichard made the tackle to help the team win.
Reichard and the Vikings get their 2024 season started in New York on September 8 as they take on the New York Giants. Kickoff that day is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
