Update: The Ravens have announced that Mosley has a bone bruise.

The Baltimore Ravens suffered a potentially devastating blow to their defense on Thursday night.

In the first quarter of the Ravens’ matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, C.J. Mosley attempted to jump over a player and landed awkwardly as he came down.

It’s never good to see a player sustain a non-contact injury, especially around the knee area. Let’s all hope the best for the five-year NFL veteran.

Mosley was drafted by the Ravens at No. 17 overall in the 2014 NFL draft. In four years at Alabama, Mosley racked up 317 total tackles, 6.5 sacks and five interceptions.
