Carson Tinker is accustom to tackling challenges head on. He spent four years developing on and off the field under Alabama HC Nick Saban, and he overcame a devastating situation when he survived the tornado back in 2011 that tragically took his girlfriend’s life.

As a result, we should expect Tinker to continue to tackle the challenges that life presents to him. That next challenge will be recovering from a torn ACL that will force him to miss the entire 2017 season.

According to an update given on the Jacksonville Jaguar’s official Twitter account, Tinker sustained the injury during yesterday’s practice while doing a non-contact drill.

After being evaluated by a team physician, Tinker was diagnosed with the season-ending injury, and he was placed on the team’s reserve/injured list.
