David Cornwell’s stay with Nevada is officially over.

The former 4-star QB who began his college career at Alabama left Nevada just a few days after make his debut with the school. Cornwell completed 13 of  25 passes for 97 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions against Washington State. It was then reported Tuesday that Cornwell has decided to transfer out of Nevada.

It is not yet clear what Cornwell’s next plans are. He did not attempt a pass while at Alabama. The emergence of Jalen Hurts with the Crimson Tide last year led to his transfer out of the program.

Chris Murray with the Reno Gazette-Journal shared the news on Twitter:

Cornwell was rated the number one player from the state of Oklahoma in the 2016 class and the fourth overall pro-style QB in the nation by 247 Sports.
