Former Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough is back in the NFL, as the Seattle Seahawks signed him to their practice squad on Wednesday. Scarbrough replaces released cornerback DeMarkus Acy, a former Mizzou standout.

Scarbrough was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Scarbrough ended his rookie season on the Seahawks. Scarbrough also had a stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad in 2018.

Scarbrough captured 2 national titles and amassed 1,512 yards and 20 touchdowns in his 3 seasons at Alabama. Scarbrough was named Offensive MVP of the 2016 Peach Bowl.

Scarbrough is an Alabama native and finished out his high school career at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The 5-star Scarbrough totaled 1,468 yards and 20 touchdowns in his 10 games at IMG Academy.

The Seahawks (6-2) face the host Rams (5-3) on Sunday.
