Former Alabama specialist elevated to active roster by Seattle Seahawks for Monday night game
Former Alabama specialist Carson Tinker was elevated to the Seattle Seahawks’ active roster ahead of Monday night’s game against the Broncos.
Tinker, a long snapper, will replace Tyler Ott, who has a shoulder injury.
The Seahawks announced these roster moves: they elevated LS Carson Tinker and ILB Tanner Muse from their practice squad and put OLB Alton Robinson on IR. Robinson, who hurt his knee in the final preseason game, has to miss at least the first four games.

Tinker played at Alabama from 2008 to 2012, where he was a part of three BCS National Championships in 2009, 2011 and 2012. He was not selected in the 2013 NFL Draft, but was signed by the Jaguars.
Tinker has spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Rams before joining the Seahawks. He was a part of the Rams’ Super Bowl-winning team last season.
Tinker and the Seahawks kickoff the 2022-23 campaign against the Broncos at 8:15 p.m. ET.
