The former Auburn receiver, who transferred to Colorado after last season, notched his first touchdown of the season Saturday in Colorado’s Week 2 matchup with Nebraska.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders connected with Dawson on a 30-yard pass to give the Buffaloes a 10-0 lead over the B1G foe. Colorado holds a 13-0 lead at halftime. Dawson has 2 receptions for 36 yards to go along with his touchdown.

Dawson didn’t see significant playing time with Auburn last season, picking up just 2 receptions for 30 yards on the season. He’s looking for a breakout year with his new team, and he’s off to a good start.
Dawson and the Buffaloes are looking for another big win after upsetting TCU a week ago. Last week, Colorado’s offense was the story. This week, the matchup has been a little less exciting in terms of offense.
