Former Dolphins player blasts Nick Saban on social media

Nick Saban’s tenure as head coach of the Miami Dolphins wasn’t exactly a pleasant one.

Saban coached for two seasons in the NFL — accruing a combined overall record of 15-17. After repeatedly squashing rumors that he was headed for Alabama, he ultimately left for Tuscaloosa in January of 2007.

Former NFL WR P.K. Sam lashed out at Saban on Wednesday. A former Florida State receiver, Sam enjoyed a six-year NFL career. He played with the Dolphins for two years — which coincided with Saban’s short stint.

Sam had this to say:

It appears as if Sam had hoped to be placed on the bereavement list. Instead, he was cut from the practice squad in 2006. He was then resigned — and cut again by the team in 2007.
