Jackson, a cornerback, redshirted last season after having shoulder surgery. He was not enrolled at Florida or on the Gators’ roster this fall.
According to the police report from the April 18 incident, investigators claimed Jackson entered the apartment with two other males behind him, but quickly left. After he left, one of the other two men pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the three people in the apartment. The men then made the victims get on the floor. They took $382 from the victim’s pockets, as well as marijuana and two game consoles, then left in a red car.
The state attorney’s office charged Jackson with three counts of home invasion with a deadly weapon and one count of burglary of an occupied dwelling. Each charge carried a minimum of 10 years in prison. But on Friday, Jackson was acquitted of all charges.
Now cleared, Jackson says he would like to return to college football.

J.C. Jackson hasn’t been in school since he was charged. Would have to go through student judicial affairs before he could rejoin #Gators.
