Former Georgia defensive lineman John Jenkins has signed with the Chicago Bears, according to the team’s Twitter account.

Jenkins was a third-round draft pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Saints. He also played with the Seahawks in 2016. He’s played in 51 career NFL games and made 62 tackles with 1.5 sacks.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 360 pounds, Jenkins is a space eater along the defensive line, and although he battled weight issues with the Saints, he could be a valuable member of a rotation with the Bears.
