Published:

Jacob Eason transferred from Georgia to Washington to finish out his college career. Then, in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts picked him in the fourth round.

Eason spent the 2020 campaign and all of the 2021 season up to this point with the Colts, but now he’s looking for a new NFL home.

Per the Colts’ Twitter page, the team has decided to waive Eason after activating QB Sam Ehlinger from injured reserve:

Eason completed 2 of 5 passes in limited action this season. He also threw 1 interception.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it seems his time in Indianapolis has come to an end.
