Former Georgia QB Matthew Stafford and wife to have first child

Marriage has looked good on former Georgia QB Matthew Stafford.
Since getting hitched last spring, Stafford has been outstanding on the field for the Detroit Lions.
Now, according to the Detroit Free Press, the former Bulldog will get to experience another off-the-field joy — the birth of he and his wife Kelly’s first child.
Kelly Stafford made the announcement on her Instagram page on Friday:
Stafford was the No. 1 overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft. He’s thrown for 1,378 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Lions so far in 2016.
