Former Georgia RB Nick Chubb tops 100 yards, has best NFL game yet against the Raiders

Despite his success as one of the most memorable running backs in Georgia history that ended in a memorable Rose Bowl victory, Nick Chubb had struggled in his first few NFL games.

Through his first three games, he had just 7 rushes for 41 yards sitting behind Carlos Hyde who already had 61 carries for more than 200 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Sunday against the Raiders, Chubb made his case for more playing time.

On just three carries in regulation, he had 105 yards and 2 touchdowns including a 63-yard run which brought back memories of his time in Athens. He followed that up with another 41-yard run to put the Browns up late in the fourth quarter. Though they eventually lost in overtime, it was still a great day for the former Georgia star.

If Chubb can churn out more days like Sunday, he should be starter soon enough if he produces like that.
