Former Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey is back in Sanford Stadium — as a visitor.
He was sighted on the field in pregame activities, making his way over to star quarterback Carson Beck for a photo that was posted to X by the team.

McConkey was a key part of the Georgia offense when he caught passes in Athens before being selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft at No. 34 overall.
The team is on a bye week after most recently falling, 17-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs.
So far this season for the Chargers, the rookie McConkey totals 15 receptions on 24 targets for 176 yards with 2 touchdowns.
He finished out his senior season for the Bulldogs with 30 catches for 478 yards, averaging 15.9 yards per reception with 2 touchdowns. On his Georgia career, McConkey amassed 119 catches for 1,687 yards, averaging 14.2 yards per catch with 14 touchdowns.
He also carried the ball 13 times for 216 yards and 4 touchdowns. How he continues to build upon that in his professional career with the level of versatility he brings as a receiver will be something to keep an eye on.
Georgia and Auburn are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, with the Bulldogs coming out as a heavy three-score favorite.
