Mike Garafolo of NFL Media is reporting that the Tennessee Titans are signing veteran receiver and former Georgia star Chris Conley off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, according to a source.

Conley began the 2022 season with the Houston Texans, so this will already be his 3rd AFC team since Week 1.

There’s reportedly no word on a corresponding move.

This news is a bit of a birthday gift for Conley, who turned 30 years old on Tuesday. He was a 3rd-round draft pick in 2015 by Kansas City and returned to the team after playing for the Texans in the first 2 games of the season.

Ironically, Conley’s latest team, the Titans, play at the Texans on Sunday.

Conley spent 4 years with the Chiefs and 2 years in Jacksonville before joining Houston last year. He has 213 catches for 2,807 yards and 15 touchdowns in his career.

Conley played at Georgia from 2011-14, piling up 1,938 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns, including 8 during his senior season. He played all 4 seasons in Athens under Mark Richt.

Conley definitely has an artsy side to go with his football talents. While attending and playing football at Georgia, Conley wrote, directed and starred in a Star Wars fan-film called “Retribution.”

He certainly hopes to get a little retribution this Sunday against one of his old teams.
