During Thursday night’s NBA Draft, four Kentucky players — Kevin Knox, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Hamidou Diallo and Jarred Vanderbilt — heard their names called.
One player who didn’t was F Wenyen Gabriel, who went undrafted, but has now found a home as a free agent.
According to a tweet he posted on Friday, Gabriel is heading out west to join the Sacramento Kings:

Considering the Kings missed the playoffs last season, Gabriel should have a shot to crack the roster. Even if he has to spend a year in the G League, he can learn the skills needed to compete at the NBA level.
When Gabriel is on his game, he’s an NBA talent. The Kings will just need to get more consistency from the former Wildcat.
