Former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott sets Dallas Cowboys rookie passing records

The legend of Dak Prescott continues to grow in Dallas. During Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, the former Mississippi State quarterback set new franchise records for passing touchdowns and yards by a rookie.

Prescott has recorded 1,860 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions through his first eight career games. The former All-SEC quarterback has started every game for the Cowboys in 2016 after being selected by the franchise at No. 135 overall in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
The rookie has already thrown for 87 yards and a touchdown on 8 of 10 passing Sunday. Prescott connected with former Tennessee tight end Jason Witten on a 26-yard pass give Dallas its first lead of the game.
The Cowboys currently lead the Browns, 14-3, with 8:34 left in the second quarter.
