Former Ole Miss star Eli Manning joins Twitter, sends first tweet

Eli Manning is now retired from football after a long career at Ole Miss and with the New York Giants.
The 2-time Super Bowl champion is now looking for other ways to fill his time, and it appears he’s turning to social media.
As you can see below, Manning announced he had joined Twitter with a great GIF from the movie “Hoosiers”:

The replies to the tweet were already full of troll jobs and other nonsense, so Manning will get a fast lesson in the silliness of Twitter.
We’ll see how much Eli uses his Twitter account moving forward, and whether he can convince his brother Peyton to join or not.
