Pharoh Cooper is back in action.

The former South Carolina receiver will be elevated from the Arizona Cardinals practice squad for Monday night’s game against the New England Patriots. Former Minnesota tight end and 2nd-round pick Maxx Williams will also be active for the NFC West franchise.

A 2016 4th-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams, Copper has bounced around the league since leaving Columbia. He has played for the Cardinals (2018), Cincinnati Bengals (2019), Carolina Panthers (2020), Jacksonville Jaguars (2021) and New York Giants over his 7-year career. He was named a 1st-team All-Pro with the Rams due to his special teams skills in 2017.

Cooper spent 3 seasons with the Gamecocks before electing to go pro. He recorded 138 catches for 2,163 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also tallied 513 rushing yards on 71 carries and totaled 4 scores as a running back. Cooper’s best season came in 2014 when he registered 69 catches for 1,136 yards and 11 total touchdowns.

The Cardinals and Patriots will kick off from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. at 8:15 E.T. on ESPN.
