Former Tennessee DB Key Lawrence, the top Vol 2020 signee, announces Big 12 transfer destination

During the 2020 recruiting cycle, 4-star S Key Lawrence was the top player in the Tennessee Volunteers’ signing class.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Lawrence was the No. 5 safety in the class of 2020 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.
But, Lawrence recently entered the NCAA transfer portal, and now, the Nashville native has announced via Twitter that he’s heading to Oklahoma:

Lawrence played in all 10 games for Tennessee in 2020, serving primarily as a backup defensive back. He recorded 8 total tackles and had 1 pass breakup.
He’ll head to an Oklahoma program that won the Big 12 title in 2020. Will he become a star with the Sooners? We’ll find out starting this fall.
