Former Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill becomes part of NFL history

NFL offenses are gradually becoming more creative. Teams are starting to use their quarterbacks as pass-catchers more often. Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill helped make NFL history in that role Sunday.
Tannehill and Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan both caught touchdown passes. It’s the first time in modern NFL history that two quarterbacks caught touchdowns on the same day.
Tannehill’s score came when he handed the ball off to RB Kenyan Drake, who ran to the left side of the field and pitched to WR Kenny Stills. The wide out ran back toward the right side of the field and found Tannehill, once a wide receiver at Texas A&M, open near the end zone.
