The NFL preseason is a time for fringe players to give it all they’ve got in hopes of making a team’s roster. For the league’s stars, however, it’s much more important to make it to Week 1 as healthy as possible.

Unfortunately for Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, he sustained an injury in the team’s third preseason game against Jacksonville. Green injured his leg during the game but tried to play through the pain only to exit the contest after limping noticeably, according to Pro Football Talk.

One of the top wide receivers in the NFL, Green’s injury doesn’t appear to be too serious.

The former UGA star has been electric for the Bengals during his career. Hopefully, he’s able to bounce back quickly and continue to make highlight plays in 2016.
