Traveling to Soldier Field to battle the Chicago Bears on Sunday, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara accomplished something only two other players at the position had done in National Football League history.

The Saints’ official Twitter account shared the news of his pass-catching achievement.

A graduate of Norcross (Georgia) High School, Kamara began his collegiate career in Tuscaloosa with Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide.

Not seeing any game action during his lone season with the program, he transferred to Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College, before joining Butch Jones’ Tennessee Volunteers.

Running for 1,294 yards and 16 touchdowns, while adding 683 receiving yards and another seven scores, during his two seasons in Knoxville, Kamara elected to forgo his final season of eligibility and was selected by New Orleans in the third-round (No. 67 overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The other two tailbacks to record at least 50 receptions in each of their first four professional seasons, Matt Forte and LaDainian Tomlinson, played collegiately for the Tulane Green Wave and TCU Horned Frogs, respectively.
