Back in January, former four-star Tennessee signee D’Andre Payne decided to transfer to Maryland to continue his football career. Just a few months later, he’s apparently on the move again.

Payne appeared in eight games as a freshman in 2014, recording four total tackles during his career with the Vols. A native of Washington, D.C., Payne would not have been eligible to play for the Terrapins in 2015. Instead, he will apparently continue his career at a junior college.

Payne was a four-star cornerback in the class of 2014, the 22nd-best player at his position, per the 247sports industry composite.
