Four SEC programs made the cut for Alec Long’s top 5 that was released on Twitter on Wednesday night.
The three-star safety from Jackson, Tennessee, included Texas A&M, Missouri, Mississippi State and Kentucky on his list. Memphis also is featured.
247Sports rates him as the No. 40 safety for the class of 2017. He’s 5-foot-11, 203 pounds, so he has a chance to showcase an impressive frame as he matures.
As Long’s top 5 shows, there’s a strong chance he ends up somewhere in the SEC.
