Many teams around the country are vying for the services of 2017 four-star DE Malik Herring, but on Sunday, Herring cut his list of teams down to seven.
Four SEC schools made the cut for the 6-foot-4, 261-pounder from Forsyth, Georgia:

Herring has been a top target for Georgia. The Bulldogs survived the cut, along with Alabama, LSU and Tennessee.
The Bulldogs are still projected to land the talented recruit, according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
