Missouri and Kentucky made the cut for the services of 2017 four-star safety Gentry Bonds.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound recruit from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, took to Twitter on Friday to name his top-five teams:

Missouri and Kentucky will have their hands full trying to beat 2016 national runner-up Clemson, but according to rivals.com, Bonds was impressed with both schools.

He said he liked the access he had to Missouri’s head coach:

“I feel like Missouri would also be a good fit for my skill set. I have talked to Coach Brown and he sees me fitting well into their defense. They have shown me love since I first met them. The first coach I talked to was the head coach, Coach Odom.”

Bonds added that Kentucky would be a great place to get playing time:

“Kentucky is a great school because I fit well into what they do defensively. Coach Elliot and I have a good relationship and they told me they have a need for defensive backs.”

Bonds plans to visit each of his final five schools again next month.
