Four-star Texas running back commits to Georgia on Turkey Day

Top 50 player Devwah Whaley committed to Georgia on Thursday, becoming the Bulldogs’ second four-star running back for the 2016 class.

Whaley (Beaumont, Texas) is Georgia’s 17th commit in a class currently ranked inside the top 5 nationally by 247Sports. At 6-foot, 210 pounds, Whaley is considered a power back and is ranked as the fourth-best player at his position in the country.

The Under Armour All-American has a visit to Texas in December and has already taken officials to Arkansas, Texas A&M and Georgia. Whaley has rushed for 1,530 yards this season and 21 touchdowns.
