LSU running back Leonard Fournette said Monday that he saw the offensive banner “Finish what Katrina started” displayed by Alabama fans at off-campus apartment over the weekend prior to his team’s game against Alabama.
The image floating around social media didn’t sit right with Fournette, who suffered through the tragedy first-hand in New Orleans as a boy, but he took the high road with his response:
Fournette says he saw the #Bama Katrina banners: “Can’t control other peoples’ actions.” #LSU

The University of Alabama released a statement on Saturday condemning the banner.
