A bidder has paid $101,000 for an autographed game-worn Leonard Fournette jersey in an auction that ended at 12:01 p.m. ET on Monday.

The money will be awarded to South Carolina flood relief and not to Fournette, which is within NCAA rules. It’s also a record total, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, breaking the previous high paid for a game-used college jersey was $26,290 for one worn by by Notre Dame standout and NFL Hall of Famer Paul Hornung.

The package also included helmets signed by LSU coach Les Miles and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier.

The leading bid sat at $45,000 at 11:53 a.m. ET, but the auction remained open as long as bids were made within a three-minute window. The price skyrocketed from there.
