FWAA announces 2024 Freshman All-America Team, featuring 9 from SEC

With the calendar flipped to 2025, the 2024 college football season is almost in the books. Only one game remains, Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship showdown between Notre Dame and Ohio State.

On Tuesday, the Football Writers Association of America revealed its annual Freshman All-America Team. The SEC leads all conferences with 9 selections, including all 4 defensive linemen. All players, including West Virginia transfer Josiah Trotter who signed with Mizzou, are listed with their 2024 squad.
