While the rest of the football world was monitoring the NFL Draft on Saturday, South Carolina coach Will Muschamp and his staff were collecting commitments for the 2017 signing class.
Three-star prospects Kyshaun Bryan and Shawn Smith each committed to play for the Gamecocks on Saturday afternoon.
Bryan is a running back from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Smith, who hails from Brunswick, Ga., is listed as an athlete by 247Sports.

The duo pushes South Carolina to eight commitments for the 2017 recruiting class. Bryan should be the Gamecocks’ running back for the class, while Smith’s role is still to be determined.
