Garth Brooks will be the SEC’s opening act for games broadcast on CBS this college football season, according to an article written by Rolling Stone. His new song, “Pure Adrenaline,” was reportedly written specifically for the conference and had some of the lyrics tweaked for every “SEC Game of the Week” for the 2016 season.

The column states that Brooks will be featured before each game in a series of original videos, which are currently being filmed in Nashville.

“It’s all going to be done very fast paced, intercut with football footage — which is what we’re all tuning in to see anyway,” said Brooks.

The SEC on CBS kicks off Saturday, September 3 at 3:30 p.m. ET when Texas A&M hosts UCLA.

“I’m an Oklahoma State-r. I bleed orange,” said Brooks. “But I feel lucky to be a part of the SEC. We’ll be seeing the greatest games in the greatest conference.”
