Get ready Florida residents.

The chances are good there’s a Gators assistant coach coming to a school near you.

Jim McElwain’s crew is getting ready to blitz the Sunshine State by visiting more than 300 high schools this week, according to a report from SEC Country’s Zach Abolverdi.

The in-state trips are reportedly scheduled with the idea of getting in front of recruits for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 class.

Abolverdi reports that all nine assistants will cover an assigned area each day, allowing them to cast as wide a net as possible during the week.

Here’s a look at the areas they are expected to concentrate on each day:

Monday: Central Florida and Jacksonville
Tuesday: Southwest Florida and Fort Myers, where McElwain will be speaking
Wednesday: Polk County, St. Petersburg and Tampa, where McElwain will be speaking
Thursday and Friday: South Florida and the Panhandle

It will be interesting to see if the visits pay any immediate dividends for the Gators recruiting efforts in the former of verbal commitments.

The Gators will enter the week with four commitments for the 2017 recruiting class, according to 247Sports.
