Georgia has a talented, experienced roster this season. So it’s not much of a surprise that the Bulldogs have opened the year with 4 straight wins and have moved up to No. 2 in the AP Top 25 poll.
In order to continue its strong start, Georgia will have to take down another top team on Saturday as it hosts No. 8 Arkansas at Sanford Stadium. It should be an exciting day in Athens, as the Bulldogs and Razorbacks could play a close, competitive game.
On Friday, Georgia announced that its 3 captains for the matchup will be senior running back James Cook, senior offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer and senior defensive back Christopher Smith. This is among the biggest games of the year, so it’s no surprise that the Bulldogs have turned to their veterans to lead the team into action:

Georgia beat Arkansas last year and has won 8 of the past 9 meetings between the schools to take an 11-4 lead in the all-time series. While the Razorbacks are much improved this season, the Bulldogs have national title aspirations and appear to be among the favorites early in the year.
Georgia and Arkansas are set to kick off on Saturday at noon ET on ESPN.
