Georgia announces changes to jerseys ahead of 2022 season

Georgia is fresh off a national championship run in 2021, and now the Bulldogs will try to win it all again.

But, when they take the field this fall, they’ll have a more old-school look to their jerseys.

As you can see below, the Georgia Twitter account revealed on Thursday that the 2022 jerseys would have block numbers returning to the mix:

Georgia legend David Pollack helped with the reveal, highlighting the block numbers he wore during his playing days in Athens.

Based on responses to the tweet, this is a popular change among Bulldog fans. We’ll see how it looks on the field in Week 1 against Oregon on Saturday, Sept. 3!
