Well you can go ahead and file this under the “never would happen today” file. I’m not sure what is less likely to happen in a 2014 storming of the field: storming an opposing team’s field, or the cameras sticking around and the network airing everything. That’s not even mentioning the whole fire hose thing.
Saturday’s game pitting Auburn vs. Georgia should be a good game, but I’m pretty sure we won’t see a scene like this. Well, we wouldn’t see it anyway because the cameras would most likely cut away.
