Georgia is perenially one of the best recruiting teams in the country. Since Kirby Smart took over at Georgia in 2017, the Bulldogs have never finished worse than the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation.

On Thanksgiving Day, the Bulldogs added another talented commit to their 2025 class. Offensive tackle Dennis Uzochukwu, who had been committed to Georgia State, announced that he was instead committing to the Bulldogs.

“Let’s work Dawg Nation,” said the commit in his announcement.

The talented prospect is rated as a 3-star in the 247Sports Composite ranking. Uzochukwu is the No. 42 offensive lineman and the No. 70 prospect out of Georgia. The lineman stars for Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia. Uzochukwu stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs in at 285 pounds.

Uzochukwu originally committed to Georgia State back in July. However, the prospect recently went on a visit to Athens and the trip clearly changed his mind. Before committing, Uzochukwu also received interest from South Florida, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and Virginia Tech, among others.

With the addition of Uzochukwu, the Bulldogs currently have the No. 1 class in 2025. The class boasts 5 5-star recruits and 19 4-star prospects already. Uzochukwu is the fifth offensive lineman to publicly join the class.

The Early Signing Period opens on Dec. 4 and runs through Dec. 6. The Bulldogs will look to maintain the top overall class for the second consecutive year.
