Georgia forces 4 turnovers, flattens Oklahoma 41-13

The Georgia Bulldogs are not to be messed with.
Kirby Smart and Co. are 4-0 on the season after blasting Oklahoma 41-13 in front of a great crowd at Sanford Stadium. The Bulldogs defense was suffocating and Gunner Stockton jumped out to an elite start, leading Georgia to a 28-0 lead before Oklahoma finally found the end zone at the start of the 3rd quarter.
The Sooners actually moved the ball pretty well to start — OU finished the game with 16 first downs compared to Georgia’s 12 — but turnovers continued to plague Mateer as the game wore on. Oklahoma turned the ball over 4 times on Saturday and 3 of those turnovers were directly caused by the Sooners QB.

On the other side of the ball, Stockton had an up and down evening. He started 9-for-9, but finished 14-for-25 with 1 touchdown and 1 interception at an average of 6.8 yards per play. The Bulldogs quarterback struggled pushing the ball downfield against a good Sooners defense — a major gripe among Bulldogs fans from Stockton’s 2025 season.
Talyn Taylor deserves a mention for his performance on Saturday. The sophomore receiver led all pass catchers on Saturday, totaling 4 receptions for 110 yards and 1 touchdown. Taylor’s 110 yards are by far the most in a single game for his career.
