Georgia K Rodrigo Blankenship has become one of the best kickers in all of college football over the years.
That has sparked some debate as to whether he should declare for the 2019 NFL Draft and forgo his final year of eligibility or return to play for the Bulldogs in 2019.
On Saturday, he put Georgia fans’ minds at ease by announcing via Twitter that he’d still be wearing a Georgia uniform next fall:
I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Dawg Nation, I’M NOT GOING ANYWHERE ?? #GoDawgs #UnfinishedBusiness #RespectTheSpecs pic.twitter.com/iTTG2lcA97

Blankenship made all 65 of his extra points this year and went 19-for-23 on field goals, good for an impressive 82.6-percent success rate.
Having him back will keep the Georgia kicking game strong next year, and then we’ll see what happens with Hot Rod in the NFL.
