Georgia receives commitment from All-American punter

Punters are the guys most fans never like to talk about until their team has a bad one.

Thanks to a commitment from U.S. Army All-American punter Marshall Long, that may not be an issue for Georgia for a long time to come.

Long committed to Virginia Tech back on Jan. 14, but that did not last long when the opportunity to play for Kirby Smart became too much to pass up for the North Carolina native.

Here is what Long posted to Instagram on Thursday:

First I would like to thank everyone who has supported me through the recruiting process. I have decided I will play college football at The University of Georgia on full scholarship. It’s always been a dream of mine to play SEC football and it’s a blessing to have this opportunity. Can’t wait to play between the hedges!🏈 GO DAWGS🐶
