Georgia, LSU lead SEC in longest streak of Super Bowl participants

Super Bowl LII will mark the 17th consecutive contest featuring players from both Georgia and LSU.

That mark leads all SEC schools by one, with Florida being represented each of the last 16 years. The only two SEC schools that do not have an active Super Bowl streak are Missouri and Kentucky.

These figures come from LSU’s research department. They note that Nebraska has the nation’s longest streak at 25 years with a Super Bowl participant.
