Georgia quarterback JT Daniels, who missed last week’s game against UAB with an oblique injury, will start for the Bulldogs tonight in their SEC opener against South Carolina.

The news comes courtesy of the flipchart provided by head coach Kirby Smart before the game, which kicks off at 7 p.m. EST and will be televised by ESPN.

Daniels. a 6-3, 210-pound junior, started in Georgia’s season-opening 10-3 win over Clemson and completed 22-of-30 passes for 135 yards.

Interestingly, Stetson Bennett, who threw five touchdown passes in the win against Blazers a week ago, isn’t listed as the clear No. 2 QB. He’s listed as “or” with Carson Beck as the back-up.

Also revealed in the flipchart is that Darnell Washington, who has been dealing with a foot injury, is expected to start at tight end, while Tykee Smith, who is also dealing with a foot injury, is listed as “or” with Latavious Brini at the STAR position.
