“It gives great momentum. We felt like we created something last week, but we knew this game was gonna be a battle. I wasn’t expecting to come in and dominate — I thought it would be what it was today. Just a few plays here and there would decide the game.”
Auburn and Georgia are, in a lot of ways, a lot alike.

On his team’s defense …
“Just a super job of guys doing their job and taking care of business. In college football, every offense is so different. To have a ll the different types of offense … we haven’t hardly given up any big plays at all.”
On winning for the seniors …
“It was mentioned a few times throughout the week. Last week was the last home game in SEC, this was the last SEC game, next week is the last home game period, and next week is the last game. There’s a lot of motivation.”
On the season overall …
“They’re all sweet. They’re so hard to come by. There’s so much work put in, this week obviously, but go back to August 1. There’s so much of our lives invested here. I learned real fast our first year. … I learned in a hurry, 10-3 is a glorious thing in our league, and I’ll take 10-3 any year.”
